Double globular, very tightly folded.
Dark, red-purple, by the full opening of the flower the edges become lighter, giving the impression of a narrow white border.
The buds opens very slowly.
The bush is compact, tall, sturdy stems. The leaves are narrow, dark green.
The fragrance is faint.
The variety is named after Kazimieras Grybauskas, professor of botany and head of the Kaunas Botanical Garden.
